The Table We Grew Up At

religion, spirituality · EN

We’re siblings — and we grew up around the table. Some of our best memories started there. Our dinners were never quiet or serious — they were loud, funny, and full of life. We can still picture our mom giving Dad that look like, “These are your kids. Are you going to do something about them?” Around that table, we talked about everything — life, love, heartbreak, faith, and sometimes we even worked out our frustrations there. It wasn’t always perfect, but it was real, and it was ours. Now, we each have our own tables with our families — but there’s something special about coming home. So we’re bringing that same energy to a new table — a virtual one — where we can laugh, reflect, and share stories about growing up in the Anabaptist world.
