Institutes of the Christian Religion Book 1 (Allen Ed.)

religion, spirituality, christianity · EN

In this foundational work, my goal is to equip theology students with the tools necessary for engaging with the divine Word. Ive crafted a comprehensive summary and an organized approach to the various branches of religion, ensuring that anyone who dedicates themselves to this study will find clarity in understanding the key themes of Scripture. With this groundwork laid, future discussions or commentaries on biblical texts can be concise and focused, relieving the dedicated reader from unnecessary complexities. I trust that the insights provided here will enrich your journey through faith, and I kindly request your prayers in return for my efforts. (Summary by John Calvin. Geneva, 1st August, 1559.)
