fiction, comedy, drama · EN

Dive into the world of Big Drum, another brilliant play by Pinero that serves up a sharp satire wrapped in ironic comedy—far from a mere farce. The narrative centers around Phil, one of the main characters, who is striving to craft a novel that reflects the relentless pursuit of fame and self-promotion that permeates our lives today. As the characters grapple with their desires and dreams, one exclaims, Ive been waiting—waiting for you—in my dreams—for ten years! This poignant exploration of aspiration and authenticity will leave you reflecting on the nature of success and the world we inhabit. Note An Authors Preface containing spoilers is included at the end of the Act 4 file.
