Step into the whimsical world of Lazarillo de Tormes, a timeless tale from the Spanish Golden Age that has influenced literary giants like Cervantes in Don Quixote. This charming yet poignant collection of stories follows the life of young Lazarillo, a homeless street urchin driven to seek out various masters after his father’s arrest and his mother’s poverty leave him alone in the world. Each master proves to be more unscrupulous than the last, forcing Lazarillo to rely on his cunning and resourcefulness to survive.
