In Scripture, stillness is often where strength is formed. Jesus withdrew to quiet places to pray. Elijah heard God not in the wind or the fire, but in a gentle whisper. Hey, y'all! I'm Susannah B. Lewis-- and I'm recording this podcast in my closet. Literally. Because it's the quietest place in my home. It is my sanctuary. My steady place. This closet holds what I wear to face the world, but it also holds what no one else sees. I've stood in here picking myself apart. I've fallen to my knees in prayer. Cried. Surrendered. In this closet, I've eaten chocolate I didn't want to share. I've walked in overwhelmed and walked out restored. Behind the Closet Door is a weekly podcast for women who feel stretched thin, emotionally scattered or just plain tired-- and who need scriptural steadiness in the middle of real life. Every Tuesday, we close the door on the noise... and open our hearts to Him. S
