Dr. Angel brings the science. Raman brings the chaos. Together, they ask the questions parents often don’t know to ask.The Unplanned Parent follows pediatrician Dr. Angel Rampal, her brother Raman, and his longtime friend Ashley as their family grows. Raman and Ashley’s journey began with a decision to become platonic co-parents through IVF. Now they’re raising their son, Zen—and finding that even the most carefully made plans can’t answer every question that comes with a baby.Through candid conversations and expert guests, the show explores the health, decisions, relationships, and everyday realities of building a family and raising a child. From fertility and pregnancy to feeding, sleep, and childcare, Angel brings medical insight while Raman brings the questions and experiences of a dad learning as he goes. It’s honest, useful, and never short on surprises. For questions or comments, write to us on theunplannedparent051@gmail.com.
