The Future of Jazz with Ed Smith and Russ Naymark

music, interviews · EN-US

Jazz has never stood still during its 100-plus-year-history, and now is no exception. The world of jazz has many vibrant voices to carry it forward on its evolution. At "The Future of Jazz," we talk to those who play and present jazz as we take a glimpse at some of the roads the music will be traveling down in the coming years. Joining "The Future of Jazz" are Harry Schnipper (owner of Washington D.C. jazz club Blues Alley and Executive Director of Blues Alley Jazz Society), Ray Obiedo (guitarist, composer and bandleader), Jihee Heo (pianist, composer and bandleader), Cory Weeds (saxophonist, bandleader and president of Cellar Music), and others. Please join us for one and all of the episodes, and on behalf of "Jazz Now" radio host Ed Smith and his fellow jazz lover, Russ Naymark, we look forward to having you join us.
