Distortion Den with deKe

music, interviews, commentary, history · EN-US

Welcome back to The Distortion Den! The only podcast where our hearing is shot, our denim is acid-washed, and we still judge people by the size of their Aqua Net bill. Every week deKe will cracking open the vault of hard rock and heavy metal history. We are talking to the legendary musicians who lived the chaos, and the authors who wrote the books detailing stuff most people would lie to a grand jury about. We are celebrating everything from the stadium-shaking anthems of Aerosmith, KISS, and Def Leppard, to the ultimate fretboard fireworks of Van Halen. Plus, we are throwing major love to our northern rock royalty, from the high-octane power of Triumph and the wild energy of Iron Maiden, to the heavy-hitting riffs of AC/DC and more.. If you grew up plastering your bedroom walls with pin-ups torn straight out of Circus, Creem, Hit Parader, RIP, or Metal Edge, you are in the right place. And yes, we are absolutely dusting off our old copies of Music Express magazine
