Two Girls and a Plot Twist

Two Black women. One plot twist too many. Two Girls and a Plot Twist is a weekly pop culture podcast where two Black women nerds break down the movies, TV shows, anime, horror, and internet moments that have us gagged, confused, or personally offended. We love a good story—but we hate bad writing. Each episode, we unpack questionable plot twists, creative choices that didn’t quite land, and moments that make you ask: Was that genius… or just lazy? Through sharp takes, cultural context, and plenty of side commentary, we dig into what’s working, what’s not, and why it matters. Expect unfiltered opinions, thoughtful analysis, and the kind of conversations that usually live in the group chat. If it made us pause the screen, scream at the TV, or spiral long after the credits rolled, we’re talking about it. New episodes weekly. Come for the plot. Stay for the opinions.
