At The Sign of The Greedy Pig

fiction, comedy, drama · EN

In a whimsical mood inspired by Spanish castles, I conjure the image of an ancient city perched atop a hill, where towering battlements rise from the rock and spires reach for the stars. Our story unfolds in the dimly lit square of this city, set in a distant past where the world feels flat, comets are harbingers of doom, and witches still soar through the moonlit night. Published alongside Wappin Wharf A Frightful Comedy of Pirates, this tale is subtitled A Frightful Comedy of Beggars. Join us at The Sign of The Greedy Pig tavern, where intrigue and mischief abound. Will the beggars be condemned as vagrants? Can true love prevail against the odds? - Summary by Author and ToddHW
