science, business, news · EN-US

Welcome to the Offshore Wind Podcast, hosted by Stewart Mullin, GWEC's Chief Industry Officer, and Rebecca Williams, GWEC's Deputy CEO. Offshore wind is one of the world's fastest growing energy sources. Many nations are embracing offshore wind as a key tool to deliver on net zero and sustainability targets, while building clean industries that drive economic growth. Turbines are bigger and more powerful than ever, the supply chain is developing in every region and new markets are opening up thanks to action-focused policy developments that build on political ambition. The rise of floating offshore wind, increasing interest in power-to-x and green hydrogen solutions are creating the basis for offshore wind to propel the global energy transition forwards. The Offshore Wind Podcast, from the Global Wind Energy Council, looks at the issues facing the offshore wind industry today and tomorrow.
