Teen Podcast Summer Showcase 2026

education · EN

This summer, five students participated in a hands-on podcasting camp designed to introduce young people to the creative process of audio storytelling. Over the course of the program, students selected historical figures and subjects that interested them, conducted research, developed their own written scripts, and transformed their research into original podcast performances. Students were guided through each stage of production, from researching and organizing information to writing for an audience and using their voices to bring historical stories to life. The camp emphasized creativity, critical thinking, communication, research skills, and the power of storytelling while giving students practical experience with the podcast production process. The result was a student-driven experience in which each participant became a researcher, writer, and performer, using podcasting as a platform to explore history and share stories in their own voices.
