Spilling the Tea: Life After the Library Degree

business, careers, education, self improvement · EN

Obtaining a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) or Master of Information degree offers a wide range of possibilities of work that spans across various sectors. From the librarian who plans programming for children to the knowledge specialist that does research for a private company or non-profit. This podcast introduces listeners to the people who work in this field. Our audience are people who are interested in obtaining a graduate degree in library and/or information sciences; young professionals who wish to learn about different career paths; or those just curious about what librarians do (hint: we do more than just working with books). Music: Intro/outro and transition music is "curiosity" from Adobe Podcast's music library.
