Dive into the controversial opinions of Charles Harper in 1894 as he presents a one-sided view of women that is both shocking and entertaining. Harper asserts the superiority of men while painting all women with a broad brush, claiming they are inherently illogical and physically inferior. His so-called facts are a reflection of his misguided beliefs, suggesting that a womans primary role is submission and that her intellect pales in comparison to that of men. With statements like Womans Mission is Submission and A womans reason is a notoriously inadequate mental process, Harpers views may be outdated, yet they offer a fascinating glimpse into the past. Join Bev J. Stevens as she narrates this provocative text that, despite its flaws, provides a unique lens on gender dynamics of the time. This show includes AI-generated content.
