The brochure says college is a 4-year straight shot. The brochure is lying. Welcome to The Annotated Life, a podcast for the "7-year seniors," single parents, and neurodivergent dreamers.Host Jade Shelby spent 7 years, 7 majors, and 3 master’s programs navigating a system not built for her. From working 3 jobs to a post-graduate ADHD diagnosis, Jade reads between the lines of the "traditional" degree to expose the unspoken hurdles of higher ed. Whether you’re a student or a lifelong learner, your degree is just the text—your story is the annotation.
