Commentary on Genesis - Luther on Sin and the Flood

religion, spirituality, christianity, history · EN

In Dear Genesis, Martin Luther demonstrates that the free Evangelical faith he championed is not a modern invention, but a belief rooted deeply in the very first book of the Bible. This faith transcends mere rituals and institutions, thriving instead in the genuine conviction of Christ within our hearts and lives. Genesis offers the only historical accounts from the first 2,364 years of the 4,004 years leading to Christ, making it as relevant today as it was during the Reformation. This second volume of Luther’s profound commentary on Genesis explores chapters four through nine, shedding light on themes of sin and the flood. - Summary by J. N.
