Join the adventure of John Dolittle, M.D., once a renowned physician who discovers the remarkable ability to converse with animals. As he gathers an eclectic mix of pets, his human patients dwindle, leading to a pivotal suggestion from the Cats-Meat-Man why not become an animal doctor? Embracing this new path, Dr. Dolittles life takes a whimsical turn, but when an escaped crocodile joins his menagerie, even his animal clientele begins to fade. Embark on a journey where the good doctor travels to Africa, faces shipwrecks and pirates, escapes from prison, and endeavors to reunite a little boy with his kidnapped uncle—all with the help of his delightful animal companions.
