Amazons- A Farcical Romance

comedy, fiction · EN

Set against the backdrop of 1895, this delightful farce takes a humorous look at the audacious notion of women donning pants. The story revolves around the three quirky daughters of the eccentric Marchioness of Castlejordan, who, in her quest for sons, raised them as boys. While they are encouraged to embrace boyish behavior at home, they must present themselves as ladies in public. As the sisters come of age, they face a thrilling dilemma torn between their mothers wishes and their budding romance with three charming gentlemen. When their suitors arrive to woo them in secret, the girls are left in a quandary about how to navigate their dual identities. And what will happen if their mother discovers the truth?
