Step into the future with The Foundation Frequency, where advanced robotics meets the realities of everyday life. Hosted by Jessica—Foundation’s ”Chief Optics Officer Lady,” California mom, and military-family native—this podcast bridges the gap between high-tech engineering and human-centric storytelling. Each episode features the Phantom MK1, a general-purpose humanoid robot, for a ”hardcore” yet fun look at how we are building ”cool stuff to help people”. We move beyond the sci-fi tropes to discuss real-world, non-combat applications—from solving the global labor shortage to ”humanitarian defense” missions where robots serve as the ”first body in” to clear landmines and navigate disaster zones.Whether we are geek out over tendon-inspired mechanical hands and camera-only optics or discussing the ”Skills Revolution” and the importance of keeping a ”human in the loop,” our conversations are always honest, transparent, and focused on universal applicability.
