The Roswell Incident has become a cornerstone of American folklore since the mysterious events unfolded in the 1940s in a desolate corner of New Mexico. In July 1994, the Office of the Secretary of the Air Force undertook a thorough investigation in response to a General Accounting Office (GAO) inquiry into this enigmatic event. The GAO sought to uncover whether the U.S. Air Force, or any other government agency, held evidence regarding the purported crash and recovery of an extraterrestrial craft and its alien occupants near Roswell, N.M. in July 1947. Following the 1994 report, Air Force researchers unearthed information that offered a logical explanation for the many claims of “alien” bodies linked to the Roswell Incident. This report delves into the findings of this further investigation and uncovers the likely origins of the alien body allegations. - Summary by James McAndrew This show includes AI-generated content.
