This Is True Hero—an epic tale brought to life through the Gates of Krystalia system, a JRPG-inspired TTRPG with anime-style action and a unique twist: success or failure is determined by a standard 52-card deck. In this story, a group of ordinary people from our world are summoned by divine forces to save a realm teetering on the brink of darkness. An unknown power threatens to consume everything, and if they fail, the devastation won’t stop—it will reach our own world next. But they are not sent unprepared. Gifted with extraordinary abilities, they must rise to the challenge, uncover the truth, and battle against fate itself. Blending comedy, adventure, and high-stakes drama, this show is both a journey into an exciting new system and a story of heroism, discovery, and the cost of power. Join us as we learn, play, and bring this world to life—one card at a time.
